History of Chamber

Office of „Dr. Andrzej Au & Co.” is a civil association, which is currently represented by the following partners – patent attorneys:

M.E.E. Marek Passowicz,
B.E.E. Mirosław Szykuła,
M.E.E. Anna M. Wachowiak

The office is the largest chambers in Poznań and one of the largest in Poland. Deceased in 2002 Patron of this chambers – late Dr. Andrzej Au was a continuator of a nearly one hundred years tradition of his famous predecessors – Dr.E. Marian Kryzan – patent attorney before the Kaiserliches and Kőnigliches Patentamt in Berlin (1905), as well as the first President of the Polish Patent Office (1919 – 1920), and his successor – Dipl. Eng. Feliks Winnicki.

The current partners of the chambers worked originally in the Centre of  Research and Patent Protection of Polish Academy of Science (PAN) and Universities in Poznań, where they summoned up and deepened their experience in collaboration with the considerable expert – patent attorney late M.M.E. Zygmunt Wachowski.

The legal-organizing basis of the chambers is the act on the Patent Attorneys d/d: 11 April 2001 (Jnl. of Laws No. 49, item 509), and any Attorney of chambers at that  - as a member of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys – is obliged to obey the Principles of Patent Attorney’s professional ethics (the uniform text consistent with resolution  No.2 III National Convention Pat. Atts. of 15.09.2001).
